Using Bulgarian traditional and original motives, pop and funk, composer Ivo Paunov(sax, kaval) and singer Ekaterina Anguelova (vocal) have created a unique personal sound. Acid Folk Five (also Collective) brings together diferent extraordinary performers with different backgrounds. Acid Folk Five was established in 2007 and had its debut performance in 2008 in Boris Hristov Music Center, under the name Acid Folk Collective. Since then they have performed and recorded in Sofia, Plovdiv Stara Zagora and Rotterdam. The Collective performed in the Bulgarian National Radio-Studio 1 and their concert was aired live in hundreds of countries.
